Intermediate Level Lesson Plan 3.1

This is a Ballet Intermediate Level 3.1 lesson plan for ages 9-11 that reinforces the basics with a few twists to keep the students on their toes. It is a complete 1-hour class including:

  • Warm-up to focus on getting their minds into class and incorporating a little bit of style in their movements

  • Barre exercises (plies, tendus, degages, ronde de jambes, frappes, fondus, grand battements)

  • Center floor exercises (Tendus, pirouettes, petite and medium allegro combinations)

  • Across the floor exercises (Adagio, waltz, and turns,)

  • Reverence

  • Music suggestions for each exercise

  • Some notes from me!

BONUS: It has more than an hour of content so you can work with it over the course of several weeks!
